Go Karts – FAQs

  • What are the age and height requirements for the go karts?

- minimum 10 years old and 56 inches tall in order to ride on the GT Racer Kart.
- minimum 14 years old to ride on the Bomber Kart.
- Any child that does not meet the minimum height requirement or is between the ages of 4-9 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • What are the requirements for the Bullit Karts?

To ride on our fast karts residents living in Alberta must possess minimum class 5 GDL
Residents coming from the following provinces or territories must possess:
British Columbia                   5
Saskatchewan                       5
Manitoba                         5I or 5F
Quebec                                   5
Ontario                              G2 or G
Nova Scotia                       5N or 5
New Brunswick                     5

Learners Licenses are not permitted.

  • Can I bring my own Helmet to ride on the Go Karts?

Yes, you may bring your own helmet as long it is D.O.T approved. Please note that Whitemud Amusements does not hold any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged equipment.

  • I am pregnant can I ride on the Go Karts?

Safety is our primary concern therefore any women who is pregnant may only play mini golf.


  • What are the track rules?

SAFETY IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN; THEREFORE THESE RULES MUST BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES. THOSE WHO FAIL TO OBEY THE FOLLOWING RULES WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TRACK WITHOUT ANY REFUND.
YOU RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS.
• All riders must have a go-kart ticket.
• All riders must meet minimum height/age requirements. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Gas on right, Brake on left. Do not ride brake.
• Bumping, horseplay, or reckless driving will not be tolerated.
• Seat belts and helmets must be worn at all times.
• Keep hands and feet inside kart at all times.
• Smoking, food, or drinks will not be permitted on the track or line-ups.
• No using cell phones, iPods or mp3 players on the track.
• No Stalling on the track to wait for other riders.
• If kart stops or spins out, stay seated and raise your hand. A Track Attendant will help you.
• Shirts and shoes are required.
• Remain seated, with your seatbelt fastened, at end of the ride, until you are told it is safe to leave.
• Pregnant women, and children less than 4 years old, may not ride the go-karts.
• People who have a weak heart, previous or chronic back or neck ailments may not ride the go-karts.
• Anyone assumed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed on the track
• Obey Track Attendants at all times.

  • How much weight can a Go Kart Support?

The maximum weight is 300 lbs on all karts.

  • Can two adults ride on the double kart?

No, the double kart is made to fit one adult and one child between ages 4-9.
